In addition to Large-Market broadcasters, our patented technology is ideal for Small-Market Radio Station Operators, Internet Radio, Schools, and Personalities (that wish to have a studio at home). These smaller groups typically experience major difficulties in building a studio or upgrading an existing one. Since they usually do not have access to a full-time Engineer, they have to undertake the development of the Studio by themselves or hire a Consultant. In many small markets finding the appropriate consultant can be very difficult and contracting with one can be expensive. Even if a consultant is hired, the work that must be performed is the same -- requirements, design, hardware & software identification (not an easy task), wiring diagram with specification of cables and connectors, furniture design, and of course procurement of all the components. Once all the basic components arrive (hardware, software, furniture, cables, connectors, etc.), a Technician needs to be available to assemble the furniture, install all the components in the furniture, and wire the system. Then a Software Technician needs to be available to install all the software and test the system out. Following that, documentation needs to be prepared and training performed. The complete process is obviously very expensive and time consuming. In addition, when something goes wrong, think of the chore it is to find out who is responsible to fix it – lots of finger pointing!

As well as providing the complete Studio, ECS also performs the training and provides service of the Studio (only one company to call). ECS never charges for “requirements” consulting -- ECS feels it is their responsibility to find out the requirements so that they can design and build the right studio for the customer.

Edward Efron, who holds the position of President, founded Efron Computerized Studios, LLC. Mr. Efron has won an Academy Award for Engineering Achievement from The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences and holds 93 patents world-wide. He has held a high-level executive position at Philips Electronics (Executive Vice President and Chief Technology Officer, Philips Broadcast Television Systems) and The Walt Disney Company (Vice President Of Engineering and Manufacturing, Walt Disney Imagineering). In addition, he was with the IBM Corporation for eighteen years where he served as Technical Advisor to the President (and then promoted to Director of Technical Support) of a joint venture with MCA (Discovision Associates) in the Videodisc and Player industry.
